The new-user onboarding checklist

Why your dashboard looks different when you first sign up, and how to move past it.

Until you've added your first client, the dashboard shows a 3-step onboarding checklist instead of the usual KPIs and today's jobs.

The three steps

  1. Set up your business — takes you to Settings to enter your business name, phone, and address.

  2. Add your first client — takes you to /clients/new to enter a client's contact info.

  3. Schedule your first job — takes you to the calendar to book their first visit.

As soon as you have at least one client, the full dashboard replaces the checklist automatically.

If you want to skip the checklist

You don't have to complete the steps in order — you can jump straight to any section from the sidebar. But adding at least one client is what switches the dashboard to its normal view.
